Prayers that changed my life/strategic prayers/big,bold prayers

Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. (1 Chronicles 4)

Cut off all generational sins/iniquities/bad habits at my generation, and multiply generational blessings at mine so that I can pass everything forward exponentially. May I steward everything well, for Your Kingdom and Your glory.

Give me the nations.

Give me fire that will consume me, those around me, and the world.

Holy Spirit, come like rushing wind, be the river of life flowing freely from me, and like fire.

In 2020, I realized how much my grandma's intercession has helped me; that I did not get here on my own. Then I prayed, God, I don't want to let it go to waste; I want to inherit this prayer mantle that she has built up. Since then, God trained me in prayer a lot.

I don't want to just walk, I want to run...

The LORD is just.

Your Word says everything that was stolen needs to be paid back with 1/5 added to it. Everything the enemy stole, opportunity cost, time, money, energy, health, etc. I don't want just restoration -- I want redemption; Solomon level of redemption. I want payback on the enemy. I go to the heaven's courts to ask, according to Your Word, to restore with 1/5 added to it.

Use me to bring people close to Your Word.

I want to be a clean vessel.

Prayers for Israel happened around same time God was cleansing me and taking me through inner healing, and they went hand in hand.

"Expose everything that need to be exposed, reveal everything that need to be revealed; uproot everything that need to be uprooted." I was praying this for intercession, but after a while, it felt like God was saying, "Now what about your heart?" And He took me through a cleansing, refining season of my heart. Praise God!

To those who are faithful in little, much will be given. Not just for in heaven, but I think this is a principle that applies in this life. When my mindset went from "I don't have emotional/physical energy, I don't want to work" to "I don't have much, but what an opportunity to be faithful in little, so that I will have more authority in this area! Let's find every little opportunity to give thanks, like a treasure hunt. I will use this opportunity, of having little, to turn it for good, like my Father in heaven uses everything to work for our good." 

Thank you for opportunity to work when I don't feel like working, so that I can have more authority in this area.

When my prayers are too small, auto-correct them! Make them God sized. Lead me to pray strategic, bold prayers like above, that I will not miss out by not praying. That I won't find out in heaven "oh, I could've prayed this and I could've received more/Your Kingdom could've advanced more/things would've been a lot easier" etc. I hate missed opportunity cost! Father, I don't want any missed opportunities. You ask not so you receive not..

40-day Bible Reading Plan

At the beginning of the shelter in place season, God caught my attention to do a 40-day fast, and the verse that came with it was “man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God”  so I started a 40-day Bible reading plan. The variety of things that had filled my life prior to covid I no longer have, but personally it was a blessing in disguise for me because it enabled me to go deeper into what I had remaining -- God, His Word, and being able to worship. Heal Our Land // 주의 얼굴을 구하게 하소서

When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Motives

Prov 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.  16:2 All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD. 21:2 I want to exhort you on the desire to have a pur motive before God, to want to do right by Him. I think that's wonderful, and a good desire to have, and that God is pleased by it. I remembered Hebrews 3:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. I think discernment and purity is important, because we can be right intentioned but not 100% pure, etc. But we will get to more purity, etc., not as we search/focus internally (though sometimes necessary) but more as we meditate on God's Word. Hope

If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. ... So will it be with the resurrection of the dead.
