Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past (Isaiah) The goal of school is for learning things, to teach you, to put things in you, not getting perfect grades The goal of school is learning and who you become, not perfection Help me to stop beating myself up Show me your grace, your perspective, help me to receive it Give me faith that your grace is bigger than my mistakes, that you are sovereign, to surrender control, to strain toward what is ahead.. The bigger the mistake, the bigger the consequences because otherwise kid will think it's ok and continue doing it, but parents are there for comfort Sometimes you reach top of mountaintop and then go into a cave like Elijah God works in all things for my good

I was at magic sand and was riding the waves, and at some point they got big and I was upside down in the waters It was kind of a wake up call spiritually because it reminded me that the smaller waves that come are training us for the big one that's coming (I keep hear a big wave of revival is coming), and that we don't decide when the waves come It felt like I was going, God I just wanna rest, I thought this trip was supposed to be resting and refreshing, and instead i was hit with more waves, and I was reminded that I should be thankful for these waves because without them I won't be ready for the big one I tapped out for the physical waves (they got too big and I drank some water and I was like, I'm out) but I'm not tapping out of the spiritual training We are soldiers in the Kingdom of God 2timothy: Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
